Red Star – Partizan 85-68: Festive Cup winners against Obradovic’s team
The Red Star defeated Zeljko Obradovic’s Partizan 85-68 to celebratoryly win the Serbian Cup.
The Red Star dominated the Serbian Cup final, beating Zeljko Obradovic’s Partizan 85-68 to lift the coveted trophy. The game was supposed to be a derby but Red Star cleared early, leaving Partizan no place to stay away from themselves.
The winners showed an excellent performance in the second ten minutes and opened the gap, causing many problems for the opposing team. Partizan tried to put things together, but the difference was already huge. Leading the way are Kalinic (18 points), Hollins (15 points) and Walters (14 points) for the Red Star, while Obradovic missed an opportunity to add another trophy to his record 64th career final. For Partizan, Lazor had 19 points and Panter had 14.
