Giannis Antitokoumbo shook hands with the greatest in basketball history, Michael Jordan. From the biggest photo to the next, in a historical setting featuring some of the sport’s greatest legends.

Giannis Antitokoumbo is one of the 75 greatest players in NBA history. Champion with the Bucks, two-time regular-season MVP of the top basketball league in the world, six-time All Star and continues to make history. Already building his legend, he looks into the eyes of legends of the sport, people he would one day… hesitates even to dream that he could approach them.

The moment he lived in Cleveland next to the GOAT of the sport, the one and only Michael Jordan was unique, unrepeatable, shocking…

The six-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls became close to John and the two exchanged handshakes. Air Mike knew that before him was a player who followed in his footsteps, he has the same thirst to conquer as much as possible.

I had never met him personally. I saw him once in Charlotte when we were playing a game, but I didn’t get a chance to introduce myself.” John said of their encounter, adding: “I had asked him if he was coming and was told he wasn’t here, but then I saw him come out for the presentation and was shocked. “He’s arguably the best player of all time.”

This photo holds tremendous value, not only for the handshake between Jordan and John, but for the legends that frame the frame.

The two “Europeans”, Dominic Wilkins and Bob McAndou, the two NBA legends who have done things and done wonders in Europe. Wilkins and McAndu were not on their list in 1996 50 Top, but made the all-time top 75.

Among them, behind Jordan, is James Worthy, an Air Carolina teammate in North Carolina and a member of the 1980s Lakers Showtime.

On the right is the giant Hakim Olaywon. Its presence in the frame is enough to add value to the photo. Hakim, Jordan and John are the only three players in NBA history to have earned a regular season MVP, a Finals MVP and Defender of the Season honors.

Between John and Jordan, the only white male in the photo, Billy Cunningham, champion with the Sixers as a player 1967 and 1983 as coach.
