Red Star: “The penalty is too severe, we will do everything to lift it”
Red Star described EuroLeague’s punishment as very harsh and stated that they will make every effort to remove it as soon as possible.
The EuroLeague has again penalized Red Star after a series of violations FSFPR what the serbian club did denies him the right to appoint new players and coaches until the end of February.
Therefore, Dusko Ivanovic’s side, who recently acquired Facundo Cabasso and shook European waters, cannot count on the valuable services of the short-bellied wing as he is ineligible for top European club competition.
The red-whites responded with their own announcement, noting that: “We believe the punishment is too harsh and we will continue to do everything we can in the coming days to have the punishment lifted by any legal means.”
We note that the The decision of the EuroLeague can be appealed by Red Star to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
