Olympiacos – Fal: He wants to ‘tie’ the Frenchman amid an agreement on an early contract extension
Olympiacos are in advanced talks with Mustafa Fal over an early extension of his contract, which expires in 2023, to ‘tie down’ the French giants in port.
Olympiacos is to be cautious. After Mustafa Fal changed the team’s profile, the ‘Red-Whites’ are in advanced talks with the Frenchman to extend his contract, which expires in 2023, by a few years, likely to 2025.
Talks between the two sides have been “ongoing” for quite some time and it seems that they are slowly coming to an end. Olympiacos have acknowledged that the Frenchman has made a significant contribution to the team’s image this year and are preparing to do what he has done on a number of occasions in the past: extend a player’s contract early.
This season, Fal has 8.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1 steal in 18 minutes in Stoiximan Basket League and 8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1 steal in 23 minutes in EuroLeague.
