Apollon Patras announced the acquisition of Jerel Simmons

Apollon Patras made a step up ahead of the restart of the season after the break for the Cup Final Four and National Greece’s matches in World Cup qualifiers, announcing the acquisition of Jerell Simmons (29 years, 1.88 metres).

Until recently, Simmons played for A2 Spain in the Alicante shirt, averaging 15.3 points and 2.7 assists in 26 minutes.

“KAE Apollo 1926 Oscar announces the start of its collaboration with American guard Gerel Simmons (1993, 1.88 m).

Until last Saturday, Simmons was playing in the A2 National Spain championship with Alicante, with whom he averaged 15.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists in just under 26 minutes in 21 games. He had a total of 77/142 twos at 54.25%, 39/100 threes at 39% and 51/61 shots at 83.6%.

In the 2020-2021 season with Artland Dragons, he became the top scorer in the German A2 national team with an average of 19.6 points in 32 games. With 3.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists, he stayed on the ground for almost 30 minutes in every game. Overall in Germany he had 151/295 twos with 51.2%, 68/155 threes with 43.9% and 122/145 shots with 84.1%.

Gerel Simmons at the NCAA competed with Brevard College and Lincoln Memorial University. In 122 games in the NCAA, he averaged 12.7 points. with 48.2% for gunshots in a child. In his final season in the NCAA with Lincoln Memorial University, he had a mo 20.9 point average with 51.4% on shots in a child.
