Sotiriou of Panathinaikos, first female member of PSAK
A second “K” was added to the Panhellenic Basketball Association acronym, with Katerina Sotiriou becoming its first female member.
Katerina Sotiriou, international striker of Panathinaikos, became the first member of the Panhellenic Basketball Federation and many more will follow.
The PSAK update states: “Katerina Sotiriou started it… The first chapter of the Association of Men’s Basketball Players began to be written. National player Katerina Sotiriou sent the application and is the first female member of PSAKK The sequel is awaited with dynamism, as many girls have expressed their interest in joining the association”.
