Artem SLIPENCHUK: “Cherkasian Mavpas needs to rectify the situation”
During the New Year holidays, Cherkasy Mavpy signed a contract with another legionnaire and changed the head coach – now the mentor of the team is Artem Slipenchuk.
The new Mavp head coach shared his impressions of working with the team.
“I’ve been in Cherkasy for a week and during that time we’ve had 6 training sessions. The first impression is normal, the working environment, the guys are professional in training, but we have to work hard because a new coach has come with his own philosophy. Therefore, we will go step by step in the direction we need.
It is clear that everyone is evaluating the result and our team has only one win there. It is necessary to rectify the situation. But now the team is changing, players are added, for example DJ is added. We will gradually add it from practice to practice, game to game,” said Slipenchuk.
Note that the first balloon in 2023 will be adopted by Cherkasy. “Cherkasy Mavpy” is last in the standings with only one win in 12 matches.
