Panathinaikos ended their six-game losing streak by beating Maccabi Tel Aviv 88-86 on Round 19 of the EuroLeague.
Panathinaikos took a breather on Friday evening (January 13) with the home win against Maccabi Tel Aviv (88:86) in the 19th game of the EuroLeague. The Greens improved to 7-12 and broke a six-game losing streak to buy time before things get tougher in Greece and Europe.
In their fourth consecutive night with the EuroLeague, in the final of the fourth hell of a week of the season, Partizan seized the opportunity and beat Howard-Henry Baskonia’s side, Zalgiris delivered another great game to overtake Milan in a 127-point triumph , while European runners-up Anadolu Efes defeated Barcelona at the Palau Blaugrana, beating them from the top and leaving Real Madrid alone.
