Stanislav Medvedenko, who won two NBA championship rings with the Lakers, believes that another Ukrainian could appear in the NBA.
“I think there’s a chance. Issuf Sanon is doing well now. I think he’ll have a big shot if he proves himself in the NBA Summer League next summer. And he has it all. He also gained experience and showed himself well in the European Championship. He has a good chance of getting into the NBA. I think it will.
The NBA is a completely different world. The best players from all over the world gather here. There are 7 billion people on the planet and 400 players play in the NBA. The competition is incredible. Getting into the NBA is one story, but connecting there and playing for a while is a completely different story, ”Medvedenko said in an interview with the DOM TV channel.
Recall that two Ukrainians are currently playing in the NBA – New York Knicks guard Svyatoslav Mikhailyuk and Sacramento Kings center Oleksiy Len.
