Messina on Kemba Walker: “No problem, ask those who wrote it without contacting us”
Ettore Messina was asked to comment on the report stating that Armani Milano agreed to Kemba Walker, which he categorically denied, while also poking fun at the Gazzetta dello Sport, which published the relevant matter.
The Gazzetta dello Sport article on Armani Milano’s deal with Kemba Walker went viral. Ettore Messina put an end to that rumour, however.
The Armani coach was questioned on the subject and his answer left no room for misinterpretation, with the Italian coach even making fun of the Italian newspaper.
Specifically, Messina stated: “No problem, I have nothing to say about that. He’s a great player who has been struggling with injuries since last year. Ask Gazzetta dello Sport who wrote this article without contacting us. Apparently they just read something on Twitter and wrote an article.”
