Giannis Bourousis’ fair play of the year: “I felt regret and missed”
Giannis Bourousis’ packed program yesterday included a fair play lesson in a scene in Nea Erithraia, which he narrates to Vassilis Skoundis, alongside the national team and the Karditsa game.
It’s like the old puzzle of how many elephants fit in a Volkswagen. Using the same logic, I then dare to ask how many characters a player can become on the day of a game that starts at 5 p.m….
The question has an answer and I am writing it exactly as I told him a while ago…
You are great Giannis Bourousis and your works are wonderful! So, apart from all his other talents, the former national team leader has another gift….
What is it? It can be blasted!
Most of the activities were on yesterday’s agenda: activities and not savings and commitments are good, because the second ones are fulfilled because one has to, and the first ones because one likes them!
In Ano Liossia with the legends
In the beginning, “Burousaga” then performed at the Hallenstadion of Ano Liossia, where the EEC cooperation with OPAP was officially presented.
Incidentally, this event turned into a reunion of Greek basketball legends, and of course Bourousis could not be absent.
From there, Giannis drew a line at Maroussi and blew his nose at the Hotel Civitel, where the national team continued their preparations for tomorrow’s game against Turkey.
Along with the National in the City
And not only was he leaving, he wanted to say a few words to the members of the group.
What did he tell you? “Nothing bad. I pointed it out to them, although everyone knows well how important it is for them to represent our country and I put them in the socket to win so I can enjoy the journey I’m having going to do with them.”
So here’s the news as Karditsa center play Pagrati on Saturday (as part of A2’s 19th game) and catch a flight to Istanbul on Sunday!
“I decided to go for a walk there because I have time to travel abroad and I missed the whole process of sending for a game. I won’t play, of course, but I want to support the children.” explained …
I’m banging my head against the wall!
Having settled his national affairs, Giannis turned his attention to the outstanding patriotic ones: the karditsa, I mean, when the match between A2 and Panerithraikos followed at the Stelios Kalaitzis stadium in Eritrea.
I took him there when I was walking during the warm up to greet him with Dimitris Verginis, Nikos Kaklamanos and (President) Christos Deligiannis. I left because I had a job in the office and I still have my head against the wall!
I’m serious because I couldn’t have imagined what Bourousis would do in that match, but at least I learned it right away.
Good luck to my son who plays for Panerythraikos boys team, he was on the field to watch the game and impressed he called me to tell me everything.
“Dad, your friend Bourousis intentionally missed a free kick to support coach Houhoulis”!
What exactly happened six and a half minutes before the end of the game in which Karditsa prevailed 85-75? I asked Bourousis himself to tell me what was going on…
I felt regret and missed
“At one point I stretched out my leg to stop a pass (SS: Gavasiadis to Kambouridis) and it went wide. The referees didn’t see the ball come out of my leg, even though I raised my hand to see them to inform. .
his trainer Panerithraikos protested and received a technical penalty, but I had regrets. In fact, shortly afterwards he was sent off with a second technical penalty. So I went to take the free throw and I missed it on purpose.
Viewers applauded Bourousis for his conscious atzamos that showed the athletic spirit, but of course there was a sequel that’s really flexible.
And this bully came in
I give the floor again to Giannis.
“When I hit the rebound, I don’t remember which team-mate gave me the ball and I wanted to get rid of him. So I shot a three-pointer one step back and this…Brawler went nail in the basket”!
“Throw Dimitriadis out”
I’m laughing now that I’m writing this, but if the match was also broadcast on a radio or TV station, apart from Panerithraikos official website, surely the announcer could emulate Sotiris Georgountzos…
What did Kalamon’s colleague do?
In an epic moment, in the game Kalamata-Achaiki, when the referee awarded a … leather penalty in favor of Charitos, he started screaming from the microphone …
“Throw out Demitriadis, throw out Demitriadis”

Basketball player Elatontsev, who left Lokomotiv-Kuban, signed a contract with the NCAA team
The Oklahoma Sooners University of Oklahoma team, which plays in the North American student league NCAA, announced on its official website that it has signed a contract with Russian basketball player Kirill Elatontsev, who has a valid agreement with the Krasnodar club Lokomotiv-Kuban.
In November, Lokomotiv-Kuban announced that Elatontsev was likely faking signs of illness in order to avoid taking part in matches. Then the center voluntarily left the club and flew to the USA. In December, Match TV reported that Lokomotiv applied to the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) in order to prohibit Elatontsev from moving within competitions under the auspices of the organization.
“First of all, we are glad that Kirill is here, because the path to this moment has been long. He’s older and has played against some really tough opponents, which will also help us in league games. In addition, he has an excellent shot from under the hoop. “We’re excited about his arrival and we’re working to get him acclimated to our program, our system, so he can help us as quickly as possible,” Oklahoma head coach Porter Moser said.
The release notes that Elatontsev can play for the team.
Elatontsev is 23 years old and made his debut for the main team of Lokomotiv-Kuban in 2021. The center was recognized as the best young player in the VTB United League for two seasons in a row.

NBA: Barnes’ powerful triple-double, Detroit defeat and Lakers victory
Six games were played in the NBA regular season on the night of December 28-29.
Toronto hosted Golden State and earned a hard-fought overtime victory.
The Raptors had a better first quarter, during which they broke away from their opponent by 10 points (33:23), but the Warriors leveled this difference quite quickly and by the end of the second quarter they were already +6 – 56:50. However, they were unable to maintain their advantage, at least until the big break when the home team took the lead at 65:64.
In the third quarter, Golden State took the initiative and took the lead by 12 points (95:83), but at the end of the quarter, Toronto made an 8:0 move, reducing the gap to 4 points (96:100). However, the guest team started the fourth quarter better and stayed two or three shots away from their opponents. This continued until the middle of the quarter, and then Toronto slowly began to close the gap, tying the score at 120:120 47 seconds before the siren, thanks to Quickley’s three-pointer. Podzemski then hit a two-pointer to put the Warriors back in front, but Barnes responded with a two-pointer with 24 seconds left in the quarter, sending the game into overtime. The home team started the match with a score of 10:0 and then calmly maintained its advantage with a score of 141:127 and scored 5 points in 5 minutes.
Barnes recorded a triple-double with 23 points, 25 rebounds and 10 assists for Toronto. The most productive player of the match was Curry, but the 39 points he scored did not help the guest team win.
The Clippers hosted Detroit and won a sensational victory.
The home team was ahead by 19 points (33:14) in the first quarter, and then remained ahead throughout the entire match, reaching its maximum advantage of 26 points (95:69) at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Before the end of the game, the opponent regained half of this handicap, but this did not help the Pistons fully return to the game. As a result, the Clippers earned a landslide victory with a score of 112:99.
The most productive player of the match was Leonard, who achieved a double-double by scoring 55 points and collecting 11 rebounds, which was almost half of the Clippers’ entire set.
The Lakers defeated Sacramento after a series of underachievement.
Özernye, who took the initiative from the beginning of the game, gradually increased his advantage, won all quarters of the match and was defeated with a score of 125:101.
For the Lakers, Doncic scored 34 points and Ayton had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
