Kyiv-Basket filled with a 24-year-old American defender
Basketball club “Kyiv-Basket” signed the first legionnaire this season. They became an American defender at the age of 24. Danya Kingsby.
He has played at the NCAA college level for the past three seasons, defending the colors Kingsby, Bradley, and Grambling. The rookie played in 16 games in his final season with the Gramblings, averaging 8.5 points per game, as well as 2.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
For Kingsby, the performances at the Kyiv-Basket will be his first overseas experience, and Vladimir Kholopov’s team will be his first professional club in his career.
The newcomer has already joined the team in Lutsk and will make his debut on January 27 in the first match with the Lviv club “Polytechnica-Galicia”.
