NBA: The Sixers defeated Wolves in Harden’s impressive debut
The Sixers went through Minnesota like a whirlwind, comfortably beating Wolves 133-102 with Ebid in terrible shape while Harden was ebullient on his debut.
James Harden’s long-awaited debut with the Sixers jersey is a fact and it was impressive. The Sixers defeated Wolves 133-102 away, “Mousia” finished the game with 27 points (5/7, three points) and 12 assists in 35 minutes.
He was just as impressive as usual Joel Ebid, who with 34 points and 10 rebounds gave the hosts no leeway to dominate the racquet. Now up to 36-23 this season, the Sixers are third in the East and showed with their performance that the new Harden-Ebid duo can take them even higher.
Towns had 25 points and Russell 21 for the Wolves, who seemed to be running out of energy after their impressive win over the Grizzlies.
