War in Ukraine: Sengelia put the country’s flag on his Facebook profile
Tornike Sengelia’s Facebook profile was clad in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, with the CSKA Moscow player from Georgia showing his support.
CSKA Moscow player Tornike Sengelia sent his own message of support to Ukraine, which he published on his official profile Facebook the flag of the country. Georgianos captioned the photo with the caption, “I pray for Ukraine, stay strong.”
We remind you that Georgia (the country where Sengelia is from) was in a situation similar to Ukraine, when in August 2008 Russian troops occupied South Ossetia and Abkhazia, and after 5 days of hostilities the Georgians surrendered, and the athlete from CSKA Moscow did not hesitate to clearly show its support for the Ukrainians, who are now living in the shadow of war after the Russian invasion.
