The results of the U18 Rising Stars: In the semifinals Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, Aris and DEKA

The U18 Rising Stars continue at Promitheas Park in Patras with Olympiakos, Panathinaikos, Aris and DEKA remaining victorious. Check out the results.

Olympic, Panathinaikos, Aris and DEKA reached the semifinals U18 promoted team in Patras. Panathinaikos became the first team to reach the semi-finals as Doukas prevailed 75-65 in the first game of Final 8 at Promitheas Park in Patras.

The Greens held the lead for most of the game and achieved victory when Dimou stopped on 28 points. Giannis Avdalas and Dimitris Deimezis followed the scorers with 14 and 13 points, respectively, while Bala-Kagiou added 6 points and 12 rebounds. For Doukas, Konstantinos Korkontzelos scored 30 points and Konstantinos Lagos followed with 17 points.

Prometheus – Olympiacos 50-56

Olympiakos caused the upset and eliminated Prometheus Patras from the semifinals. It beat the Achaeans 56:50 and took the next step in Final 8.

The Red-Whites started strong (6-18, 10′) and managed to claim the first word until the final of the game. Arfaras had 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and Spritzios followed with 11. The first scorer for Prometheus was Plotas with 17 points.

THE TEN MINUTES: 6-18, 23-26, 38-40, 50-56

Peristeri-Aris 56-68

Aris defeated Peristeri 68-56 to move into the top four of the Final 8. Filippos Tsachtsiras with 26 points and 6 rebounds and Konstantinos Lambropoulos with 18 points were the top scorers for Thessaloniki. Fytros and Bilalis scored 14 points for Peristeri, with the former still having 6 rebounds and 6 steals.

THE TEN MINUTES: 16-19, 30-39, 47-56, 56-68

DEKA-PAOK 63-55

DEKA continued its own unbeaten course at the U18 Rising Stars and in Patras. It defeated PAOK 63-55 and is through to the semifinals of the Final 8, which will be held at Promitheas Park tomorrow.

Alexander Samodurov was the winner’s first scorer with 25 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. Lefteris Liotopoulos added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists, George Kalatzis 11 points, Christos Karyotis 7 points but also 17 rebounds and Vangelis Tsimerikas had 2 points but also 6 rebounds and 7 assists. For PAOK, the first scorer was Thodoris Konstantinidis with 20 points, while Stratos Kalliontzis had 9 points and 16 rebounds.
