The life ban and the filing of a lawsuit were decided by Partizan management for the fan identified as the one who spat on the referee of the game against Baskonia.

Partizan’s home game against Baskonia had ended 83-65 and the atmosphere was festive. However, an incident marred the efforts of Zeljko Obradovic’s players when a spectator spat at one of the referees, causing trouble for the Serbian club. A fine of 5,000 euros was then imposed by the sports judge.

Although two weeks have passed since then, Partizan said that following the appropriate procedures and the assistance of the police, they identified the perpetrator in order to face the consequences.

The fan, whose initials and photo were published on social networks, should be expelled from the entire stadium and at the same time sued for his behavior, so that he not only pays the fine, but also pays additional money for the damage caused to his image.

Partizan spoke of zero tolerance and asked for the support of all fans to prevent such incidents from happening again at their headquarters.
