Panathinaikos will collect humanitarian material for the earthquake victims at OAKA

KAE Panathinaikos is actively involved in the Hellenic Red Cross’ efforts to collect humanitarian supplies for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.

KAE Panathinaikos is running an initiative to support earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria in cooperation with the Red Cross.

The EES, in consultation with the Turkish and Syrian Red Crescents, collects non-perishable food (condensed milk, powdered milk for children, canned goods of all kinds, muesli, nuts, flour, pasta, etc.) as well as sleeping bags, blankets (not used) and personal hygiene items, which are immediately sent to those affected by the devastating earthquake.

KAE Panathinaikos is supporting the Greek Red Cross and so there will be a specific point at Gate 3 of the OAKA during the home games against Valencia (02/10) and Prometheus Patras (02/13) where long-term catering will take place, sleeping bags, blankets and personal hygiene items will be collected for our people in Turkey and Syria affected by the devastating earthquake.

The President of KAE Panathinaikos, Vassilis Parthenopoulos stated: “The whole planet is watching with broken hearts the tragedy experienced by our people in Turkey and Syria after the deadly February 6th earthquake. We express our pain, support and solidarity with the peoples affected. We must all stand by their side.” .
