Basketball Program of the Day: The National is tested in the city with a goal of 2/2 against Turkey
In the second game of the World Cup qualifier, the national team meets Turkey in Istanbul (7:00 p.m., Novasports Prime and LIVE by Sportish).
The national basketball team is already in Istanbul where they will meet Turkey (19:00, Novasports Prime and LIVE from Sportish) in the second game between them for World Cup qualification. The game in Turkey will be sold out, as will the Ano Liossia hall.
The Sotiris Manolopoulos international clinched a difficult win against Larkin’s side in Ano Liossia thanks to Costas Papanikolaou’s shot and now she will seek her second win against Turkey to take a 3-1 lead in her group and up in the group stay up.
Compared to the first game’s squad, George Printezis will not be in the mission while Nikos Gikas and Dimitris Kaklamanakis, who were left out of the first game, have been included in the mission.
We remind you that the top three teams in each group qualify for the next stage, with Ethniki in first place in Group B looking to make a big step ahead of the June-July windows against Great Britain and Belarus.
