You Didn’t Expect This: Elfrid Peyton Goes to Puerto Rico
Elfrid Peyton He has a new team, he’s not in the NBA. After running out of space in the world’s best leagues, the 10th overall pick in the 2014 draft will go to Puerto Rico in what will be his first experience outside the United States.
Peyton signed with Osos de Manati, a team owned by singer Ozuna. After a modest season with the Phoenix Suns, averaged the worst numbers of his career With only three points per game, NBA teams weren’t interested in his services and had to look to other leagues.
Despite a poor 2021-22 season, Payon has 500 NBA games to his credit. Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Pelicans, New York Knicks, Cumulative average 10.1 points, 4 rebounds and 5.7 assists.
