‘Magic’ surrenders to LeBron: ‘I never thought Kareem’s record would be broken’
legendary Irvin “Magic” Johnson surrendered on Tuesday of this week lebron jamesbecame the all-time leading scorer in NBA history, surpassing the mark of Kareem Abdul Jabbar.
The Magic said in a LeBron tribute video, “I never thought someone would break Kareem’s scoring record, but it speaks to how special you are and what you’ve done for basketball all over the world. You. changed basketball.”
Most of his points came from LeBron in two stages with the Cleveland Cavaliers and a few years with the Miami Heat, but Los Angeles Lakers legend “Magic” said it would be “King James” to achieve this record. I was delighted to see A team from a city in California.
“You broke a record as a Lakers wearing the purple and gold jersey, so it means even more to me and our fans.
“Magic” later wrote on his Twitter account, “This historic moment was so special.
“No one will surpass LeBron as the top scorer in the NBA!”

LeBron, who scored 38 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder (he needed 36), broke Abdul-Jabbar’s legendary record of 38,387 points since 1989, placing him at 38,390 points and next in line. I waited for it to continue to increase more in the game.
The 38-year-old LeBron has combined this major achievement with an illustrious career that includes four NBA titles and four MVP awards.
Entering his 20th season in the league, LeBron continues to perform at an exceptional level, averaging 30.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 7 assists per game this year.
