Partizan will indemnify Red Star President for defamation
According to a statement from Red Star, Partizan will pay compensation to the president as well as to the members of the board of directors. the Reds for defamation.
The legal dispute between the Red Star and the partisan administrations ended with the victory of the former. It all started in September 2020.
At that time, in a statement issued by Partizan, Partizan attacked Red Star’s management, writing, among other things, that “it is a family that is robbing Serbia”.
The first hearing of the case took place last summer, when the court ruled to condemn Partizan’s management, which had to pay compensation to the Reds’ president, Nebojsa Covic, the then sporting director, Filip Sudurlic, but also to all members of the club’s management listed to her.
Partizan appealed but failed and must now pay the court costs but also issue a public apology in a statement published in a daily newspaper.

“The Red Star reminds that the association is a civic association with clearly defined structures and bodies, as well as the most transparent association in the Republic of Serbia.
