EuroLeague: Itoudis, Pascual and Perasovic don’t leave Russia
The coaches of CSKA Moscow, Zenit and Unics Kazan will remain in Russia for the time being, despite the departure of most foreign players.
At a time when most foreign players from CSKA Moscow, Zenit and Unics Kazan are leaving Russia, the coaches of the three Russian teams are staying in the country.
Dimitris Itoudis, Xavi Pascual and Velimir Perasovic have decided to stay in Russia despite the development of things in the country until recently. According to the information, it is not even impossible that there will be a joint announcement by the three in which they clarify their position and attitude.
Also, CSKA Moscow’s Nikola Milutinov and Daniel Hackett are yet to leave the Russian capital, although most of their foreign teammates have. The same goes for the foreigners from Unics Kazan, with the exception of Jared Bradley, who left on Sunday February 27th.
As for Unics Kazan, the Russian club is still looking for a way to travel to Italy, where they face Armani Milano in a postponed EuroLeague game on Tuesday night, March 1st.
However, we remind you that in view of the conference call that started at 16:00 in EuroLeague Basketball, the three Russian teams have requested the postponement of their matches until further notice.
