Srdjan Radulovic: “I am very confident in this situation”
Head coach of Ukraine women’s basketball team, Srdjan Radulovic, shared his expectations from the EuroBasket 2023 qualifiers to be played against the Lithuanian national team.
“This is a very tough opponent. They have a good system both in defense and offense. They are strong in every position, especially in the low post, which was our problem in the last game. We have analyzed our mistakes and will try not to repeat them, we need to fix the problems in defense. Lithuanians play well in a fast offense and also We lost a lot of easy points in the first game against them, we didn’t shoot, which ultimately affected the outcome of the game, but I think we have every chance to win this game.
I’ve had many finals in my coaching career. I can say for myself – I am very confident in this situation. So for me this is an opportunity to show a good result and not think about any pressure. After all, it’s hard to play in these types of matches if you’re feeling the pressure on your shoulders. “We are all professionals and we have to deal with this situation,” he said.
