Ukraine beat Lithuania by 6 points. Will this be enough to qualify for the EuroBasket?

In the first quarter, the Ukrainian national team had a 9-point lead (21:12), but before the big break (40:42), their opponents took the lead.

The Ukrainian national team made an attack in the 3rd quarter, leading the score by 15 points (62:47).

In the last quarter, the Lithuanian team immediately managed to significantly reduce the scoring gap, and the blue-yellows finished the match unsuccessfully (only 4 points in 9 minutes of the quarter). The Lithuanians even had a chance to equalize the score with 20 seconds before the end of the match, but their basketball players ran with the thrown ball.

Ukraine won the match, but by a small margin – only 6 points (71:65).

Ukraine took the final second place in the group (after France) and it is not yet known whether this is enough for the European Championship ticket.

Among the 10 winners of the group and the second place in the group, the top 4 teams go to EuroBasket 2023 (only matches with the first and third teams of the group are taken into account). That is why the fans of the blue-yellows and the Ukrainian national team closely follow the events of the last matches of other groups.
