Back in action for Ponitkas and plays at Panathinaikos – Prometheus
Mateus Ponitka returns to the Walls in the game between Panathinaikos and Prometheus. Giorgos Papagiannis stays out.
Mateus Ponitka has fully recovered from his sprain and is back in action starting with Panathinaikos’ home game against Prometheus Patras in the 16th game of the Basket League. Therefore, the Polish striker is expected to be available for the Greek OPAP Cup Final Eight (16-19/02).
On the other hand, the greens captain Giorgos Papagiannis, who has a hamstring problem and needs protection for the event that follows, was absent for the game against Patrinos.
New signing Matt Thomas is also expected to make his Greek league debut, having been announced for Panathinaikos’ overseas team.
