Virtus Bologna is interested in Daniel Hackett
Virtus Bologna appears to have expressed interest in acquiring Daniel Hackett, Sportish reports.
The prevailing situation in Russia and the wider region has created uncertainty in the sport, while the EuroLeague has postponed Russian teams’ matches to the near future. Virtus Bologna seems set to capitalize on that, with Sportish saying they want to make a resounding addition and take on CSKA Moscow’s Daniel Hackett.
The 34-year-old Italian is in the last year of his contract with the Russians and, according to the Lithuanian side, is interested in the EuroCup team from Bologna, but also in teams like Valencia and Obradovics Partizan.
This season in the EuroLeague, Hackett averaged 8.5 points and 2.9 assists in 22 games against CSKA Moscow.
