Tsartsaris and Shkortsianitis for the OPAP Final 8: The finale of her career and the moments that made her cry with joy and sadness
Basketball always inspires, creates new heroes, creates stories, generates emotions and pioneers.
From tomorrow to Sunday, Crete will once again wear its basketball holiday attire and welcome 8 great teams who will compete in the first Final 8 in history with the support of OPAP with the aim of winning the cup.
The victorious Panathinaikos, Olympiacos title holder, the “Emperor” Ares, the “Queen” AEK, the three-time trophy winner PAOK, the “historical” Panionios face off in the Final 8 along with the Dove of the great Vassilis Spanoulis, making a strong comeback, and the majestic Colossus of Rhodes.
Kostas Tsartsaris, eight-time Greek Cup winner and three-time finals MVP, shares with Sophocles Shkortsianitis, who has won the title twice with Olympiakos and Panathinaikos on the OPAP camera their memories of big finals, the unforgettable moments but also the special event that starts on Thursday along with Crete’s contribution to Greek basketball.
