The Old School team defeated the New School in the All-Star Game of the VTB United League.
The match took place in Moscow at the VTB Arena and ended with a score of 148:140 (36:32, 43:35, 31:48, 38:25).
Malik Dime (PARMA-PARI) became the most productive basketball player in the “Old School” team – 30 points. Andrey Martyuk (Lokomotiv-Kuban) scored 34 points against the New School. Dima was recognized as the MVP of the meeting.
Each quarter in the match reflected its own era in basketball and the corresponding rules: the first – the 50s and 60s of the XX century, the second – the 70s and 80s, the third – the 90s and 2000s, the fourth – 2010 years and present.
CSKA defender Dallas Moore won the three-point contest. In the final, Moore was stronger than Anthony Brown (UNICS) – 23:17.
CSKA player Samson Ruzhentsev won the top throw competition. In the final, he defeated Markell Johnson (Astana) – 99:86.
