VIDEO. Jason Tatum scores record in NBA All-Star Game
On the night of February 20, across the ocean, as part of NBA All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City, the 72nd All-Star Game in history took place as Giannis Antetokounmpo defeated LeBron James.
Yasin Tatum Giannis’ team scored 55 points, setting a new record for such games. The Boston leader also played on the court with 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 1 rebound in 35.3 minutes. Jason conceded 22 of 31 field goals (10-18 from behind the arc) and 1 of 2 free throws.
The previous record was held by Anthony Davis, who scored 52 points in the 2017 NBA All-Star Game.
Tatum also became the first basketball player in NBA history to score at least 50 points in regular season, playoffs and All-Star games.
