Nikos Pappa’s ticket with the Panathinaikos wheelchair basketball team has been activated
The federation activated Nikos Pappas’ card for the Panathinaikos wheelchair basketball team, meaning the 31-year-old guard is now available for the division’s games.
Nikos Pappas now has the opportunity to play with the Panathinaikos wheelchair basketball team. On Monday, February 20, the federation activated the 31-year-old athlete’s card, meaning he can now take part in the division’s games if he so chooses.
He himself spoke on the matter, stating that “As I said before, I have felt a part of this group since its inception and I still participate in its actions. I had expressed an interest in publishing a bulletin, but with the pandemic it all went into the past and it happened to be being published now.
Panathinaikos is a federation that must be at the forefront of sport and include the whole world in its ranks, regardless of disability, gender, age, etc.“.
