War in Ukraine: Basketball court in Kyiv closed
The bombing of the TV tower in Kyiv completely destroyed a basketball court 300 meters away, five people died.
The war in Ukraine is raging, now out of control, with enormous losses. People are being killed, facilities dismantled, including a basketball court that was actually next to the television tower bombed by the Russians.
“Although the last two days have been relatively quiet in Kyiv, the Russians have tried to bomb the TV tower with a rocket. They missed the target, but the explosion was so large that a 300-meter basketball court was completely destroyed. Five people who passed by the site were killed” says Marcin Suder, a photographer and journalist from Poland who is currently in Ukraine.
