This is national team 12 for Latvia, except for Rogavopoulos due to injury
Sotiris Manolopoulos announced the 12 players who will be part of the squad for the game against Latvia in Riga. Among other things, Nikos Rogavopoulos, who experienced pain in his right quadriceps, was excluded from the mission.
The men’s national team trained at OAKA a day after the big win over Serbia by 97-92 on Saturday afternoon (25/2) and after the final of the program Sotiris Manolopoulos announced the 12 players who will take part in the departing team on Sunday morning (26/2 .) for Riga, Latvia and the final game of the FIBA World Cup qualifiers (February 27, 7:30 p.m., Novasports News and LIVE on Sportish).
These are Kostas Gondikas, Panagiotis Kalaitzakis, Dimitris Katsivelis, Lefteris Mantzoukas, Vassilis Mouratos, Dimitris Moraitis, George Papas, Giorgos Tanoulis, Vassilis Toliopoulos, Dimitris Flionis, Manolis Hatzidakis, Nikos Hougaz.
Nikos Rogavopoulos was ruled out of the mission due to discomfort in his right quadriceps and it was decided to take precautions and undergo testing.
Yiannis Kouzeloglou, Giorgos Tsalbouris, Vassilis Charalambopoulos and Homeros Netzipoglou will also not take part in the mission and Sotiris Manolopoulos thanks them for their extensive involvement in the joint effort.
