After eight years in the Basket League, Sasha Vezenkov has set a new career high
Sasha Vezenkov has set a new productivity peak in the Basket League after eight years.
Eight years after the night he scored 29 points (with 5/9 2-points, 5/10 3-points and 4/6 shots) in the Aris derby against PAOK, Sasha set Vezenkov in the game against PAOK a new career high in the Basket League on Colossi. The 33 points in the game against the Colossus is now considered the left-hander’s career-best in the Basket League, after a wait of 162 games and eight years – part of which was of course spent in Spain’s Barcelona shirt.
By the way, the last time an Olympiakos player scored at least 33 points in a Basket League game was on January 27, 2008. Back then it was Mark Jackson who had 33 points in a loss to PAOK.
