Mavrokephalidis on Ionikos fans banner for Tempi: “I had to support the movement as a sign of grief for the victims”
In a brief announcement on his personal Instagram account, Loukas Mavrokephalidis explained that his step in supporting the friends of Ionikos for the banner they raised for the tragedy in Tempi was something he had to do as a minimal show of grief .
Loukas Mavrokephalidis showed his different face as he supported the Ionian world in the movement of friends of the team to hang a banner about the tragedy in Tempi and show in practice that Greece could end the ‘shut up and dribbling’ gives.
Two days later, when the topic was much discussed and he was experiencing an apotheosis himself, the veteran forward/center released a personal statement on his personal Instagram account, wanting to draw people’s attention to the issues that matter.
Loukas Mavrokephalidis wrote extensively:
“The organized supporters of Ionikos Nicaea hung a banner at the game against AEK on Saturday. I, as a person and as a leader of my team, had to support the movement as a show of grief for the victims of the Tempe accident.
Thank you to everyone who has tried to contact me, but at this time let’s respect the victims and their families.”
