After 22 years, Peristeri bwin achieved the ultimate (2/2) in the clashes with the two greats of Thessaloniki. At that time he had even reached 4/4, since both Herakles and Macedonians competed in the big class.

Peristeri bwin managed to escape Aris HQ after an episodic match, bringing down the curtain on the 17th season of the Basket League while achieving historic success after a full 22 years. After Pylaia was also victorious, Vassilis Spanoulis’ team achieved 2nd/2nd place and the ultimate on January 15 last year in Thessaloniki after 22 years.

In fact, in the 2000-2001 season Peristeri played 4/4 with the Thessaloniki teams with Argyris Pedoulakis on the bench, as alongside the city’s two eternal sides, both Heraklis and Makedonikos competed in the big league (with Kozani as their headquarters).

Led by the unforgettable Alphonso Ford and with one of the best squads in their history, the Peristerians had Aris with 111-64 (heaviest home loss to the Yellows in their history), PAOK (73-64), Herakles (74-73) and the Macedonian (77-65).
