Colorado State Police are investigating an incident involving Memphis defenseman Ja Morant, ESPN reports.
The basketball player conducted a broadcast of his vacation in a nightclub on social networks, and also showed firearms to other visitors.
In a video that has been widely circulated on the Internet, the player dances topless in a nightclub and then raises a gun over his head.
The Glendale Police Department confirmed that the incident took place at a bar in Glendale. The department said it was investigating the case.
After this incident, Memphis temporarily suspended the player from training with the main team.
NBA rules prohibit a player from carrying a firearm on any team’s court or in an NBA-owned building.
The National Basketball Association is conducting its own investigation into the incident.
