Mavericks – Kings 114-113: Dingwidi and Finney – Smith save the game
The Sacramento Kings were up +19 at the American Airlines Center, but the Dallas Mavericks found a way to turn the game around and eventually took the win (114-113) (114-113) thanks to a Dorian Finney-Smith three-pointer at 3, 3”Finally.
A nearly lost game came back and eventually the Dallas Mavericks won against the Sacramento Kings (114-113) in the early hours of March 6th. Despite Luka Doncic’s absence through injury, the hosts managed to bounce back from -19 and win a game that seemed lost for a long time.
All because Spencer Dingwidi (36 points) put in a terrible performance, especially in the second half, and Dorian Finney-Smith finished the night’s biggest shot, for three, at 3.3”. With that, De’Aaron Fox’s 44ara went awry, which gave one of the most impressive performances of his career.
This was the fourth straight win for Dallas, at a time when — on the opposite bank — the loss at American Airlines Center marks the fact that Sacramento will end this season with a negative record for the 16th straight season in the NBA . Even more impressive, in the 37 seasons the Kings have played in Sacramento, they’ve only managed a positive sign eight times — all with Rick Edelman on the bench.
