Obradovic on the war in Ukraine: “I don’t remember talking so much in 1999”
Lithuanian journalists asked Zeljko Obradovic to comment on the war in Ukraine, while the Partizan trainer spoke about the 1999 bombing of his country.
Minutes after Partizan’s heavy defeat by Lietkabelis, Lithuanian journalists asked Zeljko Obradovic to comment on the war in Ukraine, the Russian invasion of their neighboring country and the events of the past two weeks.
“I don’t want to comment on that“was the first attack by the Serbian coach, according to mozzartsport.com, who went on to say:”I’m 62 years old, it’s not the first war I’ve seen. I remember a lot, but I don’t remember you talking that much when my country was bombed in 1999. We had Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria. As a man, I’m against any war, even with one dead, it’s a tragedy“.
