Warriors ‘walk out’ on the Clippers with Carrie and Thompson
The Warriors had… one game against the Clippers and won easily 112-97 – in a match that even reached +29 – with Thompson and Curry playing idle and having 35 points combined.
The streak of 5 losses is now a thing of the past for the Warriors. After a while, Golden State was playing on defense, and that was enough to beat the Clippers 112-97 and improve their record to 44-22.
The Warriors relied on their excellent second third (32-15) to build a safety margin, even going as high as +29 and seeing the difference never drop into single digits in the second half, clinching an easy win.
Jonathan Kuminga was the winner’s top scorer with 21 points, with Jordan Poole and Clay Thompson each having 20 points, while Steph Curry stayed on 15 with 5/12 shots (1/6 three points).
With the Clippers, Nicola Batum had 17 points and Marcus Morris and Luke Kenard had 11 points each.
