Crying with Will Ferrell appeared as ‘Jackie Moon’ for Clay Thompson in a Warriors match
Pleasant celebrity actor Will Ferrell showed up dressed as… Jackie Moon to surprise Clay Thompson and warmed up with the Warriors before the Clippers game, which caused lots of laughter.
Will Ferrell also put his hand in changing the climate of the Warriors, defeating the Clippers 112-97 and breaking a 5-loss streak. In what way; Do… warm up with the team before the game with the LA team and help everyone relax.
The famous Hollywood actor suddenly took the stage dressed as Jackie Moon – the character he played in the movie “Semi-Pro” – and surprised Clay Thompson. But why was the Warriors star a surprise? Because Thompson wore “Jackie Moon” to Halloween three years ago and then declared that he loved the movie!
In fact, Ferrell didn’t just step onto the floor. He warmed up normally, played defense against Thompson, tried to score with an alley-oop… lay-up and got a shot from the middle, knowing the apotheosis!
“He emailed me a while ago but I didn’t think it was him. “But we exchanged some emails and prepared this plan.” said Steve Kerr after the game, adding: “He’s a big Thompson fan and he knows how Clay loves to dress up as Jackie Moon. So it was the perfect opportunity to do it now and make everyone smile at a difficult time for us. He would come into the dressing room and make people laugh, it was something nice and different.”
