A Russian television station published a photo of Greiner from a police station
A Russian TV channel has released a photo of Britney Greiner from a police station, walking in the WNBA star’s footsteps, but it is not yet known where she is being held and if she is in good health.
Britney Greiner’s tracks are still missing for several weeks after she was arrested at a Russian airport for drug trafficking, which carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison. But at the same time her first photo was published.
It was a Russian TV channel that released the photo of the WNBA star from a police station in the country with no further details, including not even a date on the photo or even anything to show when it was taken.
Concerns about Greiner’s situation remain, and the fact that US relations with Russia are at their worst in decades because of what happened in Ukraine doesn’t help. At the same time, there are many in the US who believe that Greiner is now essentially a political prisoner and believe the Russian side will try to gain something from this situation, with WNBA star Serel’s wife expressing her concerns via Instagram expresses says that “There are no ways to express my pain. I’m in pain, we’re all in pain.”
It remains to be seen when and if there will be any news on the Greiner case.
