Ukrainian club Mykhailyuk conducts an unprecedented sale of match tickets
The Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball League, defending their colors by Ukrainian Svyatoslav Mikhailyuk, have significantly lowered ticket prices for their home games. This happened against the background of the news that the legendary ex-basketball player Michael Jordan has decided to leave the controlling stake in the club.
The standard admission ticket for the Hornets’ duel against Indiana last night on Tuesday, March 21 was $15. However, a few hours before the in-game kickoff siren, a ticket could be purchased online for just $1.
Michael Jordan, now 60, bought a stake in Charlotte in June 2006. In 2010, he became the majority owner of the club for an estimated $300 million.
