Jamira became only the 27th female basketball player in the history of the existence of the women’s collegiate league of the United States, who managed to overcome the mark of 1000 points.
The actions of the basketball player were disappointed in her team. The college management issued a statement condemning the athlete’s act.
“The incident following Thursday’s women’s basketball game was extremely unfortunate and certainly not in line with expectations for our programs and student-athletes. Since the incident happened after the game, it is under the jurisdiction of the local authorities and we are fully cooperating with them in the investigation. We will refrain from further comment until the proceedings are completed, the college said in a statement.
It seems that Jamira Shuts will have to forget about professional basketball. Even if criminal prosecution can be avoided, the path to the prestigious leagues in North America will almost certainly be closed to her anyway.

A second strong league could provide an opportunity to enter NBA Europe, Euroleague or whatever it is called. “This would make sense and create a more coherent map of European basketball.”
