“Fuck … Ben Simmons” shouted the Sixers fans in the game against the Nets
The Sixers gave Ben Simmons no credit, berating him amid slogans in the game with the Nets in an unprecedented scene in the NBA.
Insulting slogans are not common in the NBA. However, the Sixers fans are not… ordinary NBA fans. And they showed it in the game against the Nets (losing 100-129) where they had the opportunity to put all their…hatred on Ben Simmons’ face.
The Philadelphia fans had shown their intentions before the game as they stood in front of the Nets Hotel and cheered on the Australian. Things were even worse on the pitch, however, with Simmons enjoying the… warm-up (although he wouldn’t be playing). But where the situation escaped was when Sixers fans eventually started yelling “F…Ben Simmons,” meaning “Gam…Ben Simmons,” in an unprecedented scene in the NBA, as one rarely finds offensive ones Slogans heard from a whole stadium.
