Problem out of nowhere with Beverly Wolves injured her ear
Patrick Beverly suffered one of the strangest injuries in the NBA after injuring his ear after an elbow injury that allowed him to play just 4 minutes in the Wolves’ loss by magic.
The Wolves went on a six-win streak that ended in their 118-110 loss to the Magic in Orlando. Worst of all, they may have lost Patrick Beverly with one of the strangest injuries on record.
The experienced guard started the game “hot” with 9 points at 3/4 three points. He left the game after just 4 minutes and 5 seconds, however after claiming a ball – where he was charged for his 3rd foul – he was elbowed in the ear by Mo Baba. As a result, Wolves opted to retire rather than throw him back into the game, and it remains to be seen if the former Clippers and Rockets player will be out for a long time.
This season, Beverly has averaged 9.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals with 34.3% three-pointers in 26 minutes of attendance.
