Olympiacos – Iraklis: 16-year-old Argyroulis stole the ball from Sloukas, scored a goal and was applauded at SEF
The many problems brought Panagiotis Argyroulis into the mission from Iraklis for the match against Olympiakos, with the 16-year-old guard getting a warm applause from the people at SEF as he scored his first goal.
Iraklis came into the away game against Olympiakos with many problems, problems which saw Panagiotis Argyroulis deploy in the second ten minutes and from there into the top 5 of ‘Giraios’.
The 16-year-old warden took playing time from Costas Mexas and even scored his first career points in a Stoiximan Basket League game with a layup in the second ten minutes. He played an excellent defence, stealing the ball with the help he gave in penetration from Kostas Sloukas and then laying up the right layup to get the hearty applause of the people who were at SEF.
Iraklis acquired Panagiotis Argyroulis last summer from Keravnos Larissa, a team where Vassilis Spanoulis played in his youth.
