Ronen GINZBURG: “Our President wants to play in Eurocup”
The Ukrainian club is already making plans for the next season.
“I have a contract with the club for next year and as far as I know our president wants to continue playing in the Eurocup. The only thing I don’t know yet is whether it will be in Latvia or another country. Of course I would like to go back to Ukraine and play in Dnipro but the war remains a problem. In general, it’s good to be constantly reminded that Ukrainian basketball still exists, both at the club level and at the national team level. It’s good for the world and Ukraine to see this as well. So unless it’s too serious, we can just keep playing in Riga or another city and continue to play in the future. I think we will gather the squad for the season.
The question is where are we going to play – in the Eurocup or the Euroleague? Because the budget of the team and everything in general will depend on it,” said Ronen Ginzburg.
