Zalgiris – Jonava 93-70: Lovern and Milaknis clear for Kaunas
Lovern laid the groundwork in the first half, Milaknis took over in the second and Zalgiris easily won at home against Jonava 93-70 for the Lithuanian championship.
After Lovern and Milaknis made the difference, Zalgiris clinched the victory in Kaunas against Jonava 93-70 for the Lithuanian championship. Zdovch’s players were in the lead from the start thanks to Joffre Lovern’s attacking crescent who scored 21 points in the first half of the game.
From there, Milaknis, Blazevic and Strelnieks acted aggressively and completed the work Lovern had started. The visiting team couldn’t follow the rhythm of Zalgiris, gradually lost strength and lost at the Zalgirio Arena.
Now Zalgiris is confidently preparing for Olympiakos in the first of the week’s two EuroLeague games.
