Carl-Anthony Towns broke everything in the Wolves’ victory over the Spurs (149-139) in San Antonio and put in the most productive performance of his career, but also this season in the NBA.
Towns had no opponent to his measure, finishing the game on 60 points with 12/20 two points, 7/11 three points, 15/16 shots, 17 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 6 errors in 36 minutes of participation in a legendary performance .
Towns became the first player in NBA history to have +60 points, +15 rebounds and +60% on three-pointers in a game and the fifth center to have 60 points after Wilt Chamberlain, Shaquille O’Neal and David -Mark broke through Robinson and George Mike. The last center to break the 60-point barrier was O’Neill on March 6, 2000, his birthday, when he had 61 points as a Lakers player in a game against the Clippers.
