Sandul leads the double-double in the Superleague
In the 2022/2023 season of the Ukrainian Basketball Super League, 28 players made double-doubles. 16 of them did it more than once.
Double-double season leader Budivelnyk’s center Maxim Sandul. He had 16 double-doubles in 32 games.
Second Anton Butlar From Zaporozhye, who had 14 double-doubles in 29 games. Buts scored 20 points and 21 rebounds in a match against the Cherkasy Mavp at the start of the season. Thus, he recorded only the fourth double-double 20+20 in Superleague history.
Similar success was previously achieved by Maxim Sandul for BC Kyiv in the 2014/2015 season, Andrew Adeleke from Cherkasy Mavp in the 2011/2012 season and Vladan Vukosavlevich from Lviv Polytechnic in the 2012/2013 season.
